"A Vision For DWCC"

Pastor Ned L. Beadel - January 2005

Over the next 15 years I see . . .

Desert Winds Community Church being a dynamic and vibrant church of 3,000+ active members.

-the people of Desert Winds Community Church (DWCC) being a group that would affect the social, moral and spiritual environment of the Antelope Valley for Christ.

-The 3,000+ members will be equipped and trained to pray for and share the gospel to their non-believing friends and family members.

-The baptism of 100+ new converts every three months.

-DWCC being known & respected in the Antelope Valley as a servant church, serving the community and other churches in the Antelope Valley.

-that DWCC would be a partner with the cities of Lancaster, Palmdale, Little Rock, and Lake Los Angeles to raise the standards of social and moral life for those who live there.

-DWCC offering a curriculum for parenting and financial management through a Life Skills Training Center.

-DWCC partnering with local schools to offer free tutoring in math and language arts.

-DWCC offering three health fairs a year to low income families for medical screening and shots.

-DWCC tuned to the needs of the community and responding to those needs in cooperation with other church ministries.

-DWCC providing political leaders to the city council and local school boards.

-DWCC establishing, in partnership with Grace Resource Center and other local churches, a Grace Resource South Valley Center; to include a food pantry, clothing ministry and training center to aid people in becoming contributing members of the community.

-DWCC being respected and sought after by its denomination (Reformed Church of America) as a leader in birthing new congregations. I see us infecting our denomination to grow rather than decline.

-DWCC birthing 10 new vital and dynamic churches over the next 15 years; churches with the value of birthing new churches. (Churches multiplying churches)

-DWCC raising up 10 of the 15 pastors to plant those new churches.

-DWCC establishing a ministry training center to train, equip and coach new church pastors with the value of reaching the lost and planting new churches.

-DWCC raising up a staff of 10 trained coaches to coach other pastors in revitalizing to fulfill their call.

-DWCC vitally involved with the RCA in establishing coaching centers across the U.S.

-DWCC being known as a leader in raising up, training, and equipping missionaries to send to Judea, Samaria, and the outer ends of the earth.

-DWCC sending out 10 missionary teams each year to short term mission projects around the world.

-DWCC being a church filled with the Holy Spirit; demonstrated in their powerful and dynamic prayer life.

-DWCC would be known in the Antelope Valley for healing deep emotional wounds.

-DWCC as a place where miracles happen as a result of prayer.

-DWCC being sought out by non-believers in the community (especially business and political leaders) to pray for their needs.

-through prayer DWCC will lift the veil of darkness of the non-believing community so they will see the glory of the living Christ.

-the young people of DWCC as dynamic agents of change in their neighborhoods and schools.

-DWCC equipping our youth to start bible study clubs on their campuses to reach the unchurched youth.

-DWCC having outreach events for the children and youth that will bring the young to a saving relationship with Christ.

-DWCC challenging, calling, and equipping our young to be the future pastors and missionaries for the Kingdom of God.

-It is my heart felt desire to see the next senior pastor come from within the congregation.

Now to Him who is able to to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.
