Desert Winds Community Church

Welcome to Desert Winds Community Church Website,

Desert Winds was started in 1991 to reach the unchurched in the Antelope Valley and help them to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Our theme statement for our ministry is, “Caring People, Reaching Out!” Currently we’re in the beginning stages of building new facilities to house our growing ministry, but we’re not about buildings but people. The theme for our building campaign is, building a Mission Outpost for Future Generations.” We believe God wants Desert Winds to be His living presence in our community - to be a place where people can find healing for their hurts – to be a place where people will experience a family – to be a place where the truth of His Word of God is taught and lived out passionately amongst its people – to be a place that is saturated with the power of prayer and a place where the people are filled with a contagious joy that can’t help but spread beyond our walls.
