I am blessed with Grace.  My heart is to serve the King of Kings.  My birth and baby days as a Christian began in Vietnam.  So unworthy, yet accepted by the shed blood of the Lord Jesus.  He saw me home after two duty tours in that war.

The opportunity for me to serve in labor of churches, Bible colleges, drug rehab centers, orphanages, homes, and revivals began in 1985.  I have served my Lord as a servant to people in China, Korea, Philippines, Mexico, Romania, Hungary, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Panama, Poland, Nicaragua and the United States.  The King, I serve, died and rose again for all mankind.  Should I not serve others, as unto the Lord?  May it never be.  As I have air to breathe, I will serve.

Desert Winds is a growing missions outpost.  Music to this man's ears.  My wife, Nina, serves with me.  We have 5 grown children, 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandkids.  DWCC has been home since October 2002 and we are excited to see the growth in mission awareness and service.  You are welcomed and there is room for you to participate.

Deuteronmomy 10:17-18, "For the Lord your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality nor take a bribe.  He executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and shows his love for the alien by giving him food and clothing."

Robin and I have been married for almost 26 years and have two grown sons.  I work at Kaiser Permanente as an Optometrist and Robin is a full-time student completing her degree in Business Management.  Both of us have been Christians for several years but have only started to grow in our relationship with Christ within the last 3-4 years. We enjoy serving at DWCC on the missons team.  We are also involved in H.O.W. (Helping Orphans and Widows), which is a non-profit mission organization.  God has given both of us a passion for missions and we are searching for His direction.

My favorite missions verse is Matthew 24:14, "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

 CHUCK AND LENNIE JENKINS

We have been married for 27 years and have two daugters and two grandchildren.  I was raised in Colorado and Lennie was raised in northern Ohio.  We have both known the Lord since we were young and were baptized in 1994.  We enjoy helping others with the skills we have in the yard outreaches, with the hallway built at the Reformed Church at Dulce, New Mexico and all future opportunities the Lord opens to serve Him.

Our hobbies are camping, hiking, reading and Lennie enjoys crafts in her spare (?) time.  Lennie is a secretary to a Vice Principal at Antelope Valley High School and I am a Foreman for a grading contractor in the San Fernando Valley.

My favorite Bible verse is Joshua 24:15d, "As for me and my family we will serve the Lord" and Lennie's is 1 Samuel 2:2, "There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God."
