Hi we are the Grau family.  My name is Joe, my wife's name is Kristina and Kelsi is our daughter.  Kristina and I have been married for ten wonderful years.  Kelsi is nine and is a huge blessing to us and those around us.  Kristina has been a Christian since she was a little girl.  I gave my life to the Lord at the age of 27.  We have been attending Desert Winds for almost six years.  Kristina is a kindergarten teacher and I manage a local dental office.  We are actively involved in missions, children's ministry, drama, discipleship and I am studying to become a commissioned Pastor with the RCA.

We have been married 30 years and have two grown sons.  I have been a Christian about 30 years and Cara has been a Christian for 28 years.  We have been attending DWCC for approximately 16 years.  Our interest and passion in missions is God given and we want to help people and make a difference for Christ.  Cara is a creative person and enjoys crafting, gardening and fishing; I like sports like fishing and golf.  For a career I work in sales, but in the church my focus is discipling and teaching.  Cara teaches children with the local school district.  Our favorite bible verses are Psalms 139 and Psalms 1:1-5 and we believe the Jesus Rocks!

We have been married over 40 years.  After visiting DWCC with our son and daughter-in-law in 2000 we rededicated our lives to Jesus Christ.  We have been attending DWCC ever since.  Our mission field is everywhere, everyday.  Participation in carrying out God's work through mission activities is an act of obedience to God.  When we obey, we are blessed and become closer to God.  This is a joy for us.  Our hobbies, first and foremost, are the grandkids, then getting away to the beach, reading, and walking.  Lonny enjoys riding his motorcycle, but I prefer the convertible!  Lonny is retired from a career as a carpenter and I am a Registered Nurse.  Our favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:6-7 which says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in evreything, through prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts adn minds in Christ Jesus."
